Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council has begun work on its next County Development Plan, which will cover the period 2022 to 2028.
The County Development Plan is hugely important as it sets out the overall policies and strategy which will shape pour county for years to come. The Plan covers all of the important aspects of life in the county, in order to ensure we have a sustainable, equitable, climate resilient and healthy county into the future. The Plan will cover transport, retailing, employment, housing, community development, and the way we support our communities.
Members of the public will have a number of opportunities to give their input to the plan. The first phase of public consultation on the Plan has begun and will continue until February 28th. A pre-draft Consultation document “Have your Say“ which gives guidance about the County Development Plan and highlights the main issues for your consideration is available to download and view www.dlrcoco.ie or you can view the document in the local library or the Council Offices.
